The end of October (2013) saw me heading back out to a Thames tributary in search of Perch and Barbel.I Decide to employ the link leger on a light setup to allow me to trundle the bait into position, I also opted to fish natural baits, lob worm over a bed of maggot during the daytime, so as to gain a bit of an edge over a populace of fish that can treat other baits such as pellet with apprehension. The river kindly rewarded me with two fighting fit barbel.
