Spanish Mackerel Fishing at the Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier

Here is a short video showing you one of my favorite artificial jigs to use when targeting Spanish mackerel. They are called "spec jigs" and can typically be purchased at Wal-Mart for about $1.00 for a tandem rig. I like to separate the rig and fish one at a time. The lure is extremely light and small but the mackerel love them. Cast the jig out and allow it to sink and then retrieve the jig with quick erratic jerks all the way back to the surface.
