A look into how three fisheries have developed and implemented solutions to seabird mortality and injury during commercial fishing operations. Case studies are the cachalotera used in the Chilean toothfish fishery, automated baiting system used in Antarctic waters and Vessel Management Plans implemented throughout the NZ Deep Water Fleet.
