Fishing for giant blue fin tuna weighing 500 to 1200 pounds, this is a tightly regulated fishery, only one tuna can be caught per day, only the captain can take a tuna and only one per season. These giant tuna can be hand feed at the side of the boat. Using a minimum of 180 pound test line and every tuna must be released unless the captain decides to take the fish.
